20 Tips for reducing Headaches and Migraines

- Drink more water
- Increase Antioxidants (fresh fruits)
- Supplement with Magnesium and B-complex vitamins
- Eat smaller meals throughout the day (keeping blood sugar level)
- Eat a big breakfast
- Discontinue drinking caffeine
- High protein, low carbohydrate diet
- Exercise more frequently
- Improve posture/ergonomics of sitting and standing
- Discontinue eating dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, et cetera)
- Discontinue eating foods with dyes or preservatives (processed foods). If it's not naturally occuring, there's a good chance it is unhealthy.
- Have your eyes checked regularly
- Sleep on your back with a small pillow for support, or a pillow that promotes normal cervical curvature. Get more sleep.
- Study or read using a stand for your materials
- Overlay your computer screen with a blue filtering screen
- Limit texting and use a handsfree device for speaking on the phone
- Strengthen extensor neck and back muscles
- Reduce stress
- Meditation
